WOW. Here is a rare chance to buy a SD SS M-40 helmet complete as it was brought home with it original war torn later pattern SS Camo cover . Helmet has only about 35% of its SS decal present from hard use in the field . Original cover has some holes and tears and even appears slightly blood stained in a few places . The helmet is a size ET64 with the SS Soldier name and rank painted on the back skirt of the shell of this helmet . Reads " SS Rottf.  F. Tantschitsch " Very few SS helmets came back with there original cloth camo covers and this one has been on this helmet since its capture in 1944. You can even see the helemts rust marks matching up with the rust stains on this helmets cover . See many pictures provided .
