THE MOUNTS ARE THE LATE WAR VARIANT KNOWN AS A TYPE 3 OR RINJI SEISHIKI FEATURING A DARKER GREEN PAINTED SAYA, PLAIN IRON TUSBA , AND TSUKA FEATURING A SILK KATATE MAKI BATTLE WRAP . THE BLADE IS SIGNED KANEKADO AND DATED SHOWA NI JYU NEN ICHI GATSU , OR JANUARY 1945 . KANEKADO WAS A MEMBER OF THE WARTIME SEKI SCHOOL RESPONSIBLE FOR A SIGNIFICANT PORTION OF WARTIME PRODUCTION OF OFFICER'S SWORDS. PLEASE SEE THE PHOTOS. A very very nice estate discovered sword
